Diploma Requirements Sheet
One World Centre has the Honored to introduce the Montessori Teacher
Preparation course.
Listed below are requirements that will lead you through this course.
The average time required for this diploma is from 2 to 3 years maximum from
the date enrolled.
Evaluation will be according to your ability and acceptance of the
philosophy of the Montessori Method (Observed by the Course conductor), as
well as your attendance and mastering the activities.
To be enrolled in this diploma
1. Please make sure you have two photographs passport size. And fill in
all your information in your enrollment application. All Applications must be
handed on your way going home.
2. You will also need a note book and a pen or pencil every session.
3. Make sure you read through theses pages as it tells you a lot about
things you need to know.
Enrollment fee
o The Course fee is L.E 10,000
* Registration fee of 2500 L.E must be paid on Saturday October 22nd
2011 and will be deducted from the total cost.
* The Remaining amount of 7500 L.E will be paid by installments over 6
months .On the first session of each month you must pay 1250 L.E This will
be essential for you to continue the course.
* If you decide not to complete the course you will not be refunded for
what you have attended.
The Membership fee:
Is an annual fee of 1500 L.E paid to MEPI as long as you are still working
on your diploma, The first year Membership fee is included within the 10,000
L.E of the course. As for attending the sessions the following year please
note that you will be charged 200 L.E for every 4 classes with out receiving
hand outs. We will have a list of your names to sign for each hand out you
receive. We need a list for them to sign !!
About the course
You will need to finish 1000 hours of work divided in to:
v 340 hours of t
1- 150 hours of Activity Demonstrating, practicing with material presented
during lecture. Every Saturday from 9-2 at the IMC Maadi
2- 90 hours the theoretical study of the history and philosophy of Dr.
Maria Montessori. We will also do book reviews and discussions for the
Absorbent Mind & Discovery of the child tow most important books required
for your study. a monthly assignment for ether theoretical or practical
projects. We will meet every Wednesday from 6-9pm at the IMC, Maadi

* 2 lectures of your choice supporting your study

Please find below the details of each point.
v 740 hours Internship
After you finish your 320 hours of the academic phase, you will have to
apply for your internship. The following must be achieved: Mastering of all
activities, understanding the philosophy, also observation through working
in the classroom with the children for 740 hours.
Attendance of the classrooms: Every Intern will be located in one of our
Internship sites in different areas in Cairo.
1. Activity Albums
In the Montessori classroom we have 11 areas :
1) Junk area OR reception shelves
2) Practical life area.
3) Sensorial
4) Math
5) Language
6) Science
7) History
8) Geography
9) Art
10) Music
11) Physical education
In each area you will be introduced to several activities in a certain order
and you will be expected to document all activities in the same order to be
used as your reference in the future. You must submit albums for correction.
In each area you will receive an example of how to write your own album
2. School Observation
After you have done several Observations in the IMC then you will be able to
start your school observations .Aa one of the requirements of your course
you will be visiting 6 Schools, (Classroom for the ages 3 to 6 years). You
will be handed a list of ideas that will help you to record your observation
in your manual.
3. Book Revues
You will be required to write 6 book reviews, each book revie should
include:
1) The title and author’s name personal background.
2) The date of authorship, publication, and publisher’s name and address.
3) The purpose of the book.
4) The basic thesis of the book ( a sentence or paragraph stating what
makes the book unique from other books on the subject )
5) Ten Memorable quotes, including page numbers. (Note: Twenty quotes are
required from Dr. Montessori ‘s books )
6) A brief paragraph explaining the reader’s response to the book,
describing any changes that my have occurred in the reader’s thinking due to
exposure to the author’s point of view.
7) We will be studding 2 of these books in our evening meeting on
Wednesday. To help you out and share related situations.
4. Child Study
Hand outs will be distributed for the instructions of the child study during
the course
5. Culture Study
Hand outs will be distributed for the instructions of how you can do a
culture study during the course
6. In the Classroom
1) Please make sure you sign in and out during the academic phase of the
diploma through out your attendance.
2) It will be expected and an obligation that all students TURN THEIR
MOBILES OFF during the lecture, as it is very disturbing for the attendees.
3) No pictures No videos are permitted in the lecture hall you will be free
to take pictures while you practice with the material.
4) All rules must be highly respected and appreciated as we are looking
forward to help you reach your goal.

المونتسوري لدبلوما المونتسوري لمرحلة الطفولة المبكرة .

متوسط المدة المطلوبة لإنهاء الدبلوما هي من 2 إلى 3 أعوام كحد أقصى من تاريخ التسجيل.
التقييم
سيكون من خلال قدراتك و استيعابك لفلسفة د/ ماريا مونتسوري و نهج المونتسوري (بملاحظة
القائم على الكورس) و كذلك من حضورك و اتقانك للنشاطات.
للتسجيل
للدبلوما، تأكد من إقتناء صورتين بمقاس جواز السفر. سيطلب منك ملأ ورق التسجيل
بمعلومات كاملة. يجب تقديم جميع الأوراق قبل الانصراف.
ستحتاج
لمدونة و قلم في كل المحاضرات.
رسوم القيد:
رسوم القيد
بالكورس هي عشرة آلاف جنيه مصري، مقسمة كالآتي:

رسوم التسجيل 2500 جنيه مصري تدفع يوم السبت 22 أكتوبر 2011،
و سيتم خصمها من مجموع الرسوم.
ñ
المبلغ الباقي 7500 جنيه يتم دفعه في دفعات شهرية لمدة 6 أشهر. أول محاضرة في كل شهر يتم دفع 1250 جنيه كشرط ضروري لإستكمال الكورس.

إذا قررت التوقف عن
إكمال الكورس لن يمكن إسترداد ما تم دفعه لحضورك السابق.
رسوم العضوية:
و هي رسوم
سنوية و قدرها 1500 جنيه و ذلك طالما أنك
مستمر في الدراسة بالدبلوما و متطلباتها. رسوم السنة الأولى متضمنة في مبلغ ال 10000 جنيه.
في حال
الغياب عن بعض المحاضرات و الرغبة في تعويضها أو رغبتك في حضور محاضرة مرة ثانية
لأي سبب من الأسباب، سيتم الطلب منك بدفع 200 جنيه عن كل 4 مرات دون استلام النشرات.
هنالك قائمة
بالنشرات لتوقيعها كلما استلمت واحدة.
عن الكورس:
مطلوب
استكمال 1000 ساعة مقسمة إلى:
أ) 150 ساعة من عرض النشاطات و التدرب على المواد
المقدمة في المحاضرات. كل سبت من الساعة 9 صباحاً للساعة 2 عصراً في
بيت الطفل بالمعادي.
ب) 60 ساعة من الدراسة النظرية لتاريخ و فلسفة د/ ماريا
مونتسوري. سنقدم أيضاً تحليل لكتب “العقل الماص” و “اكتشاف الطفل”،
اثنين من أهم الكتب المطلوبة لدراستك. سنتقابل كل أربعاء من الساعة 6 مساءً حتى الساعة 9 مساءً.
ج) 50 ساعة، و ذلك لاستكمال الآتي:

في كل ركن
سيتم عرض عدة نشاطات في ترتيب معين، مطلوب منك تسجيل النشاطات بالترتيب
لاستخدامها
كمرجع لك في المستقبل. سيطلب منك تقديم الألبومات للتصحيح.
سنقدم لك
أمثلة في كل ركن عن كيفية كتابة الألبوم الخاص بك.
ب) رصد
المدارس:
بعد القيام
بملاحظاتك في بيت الطفل يمكنك بدأ رصد المدارس. سوف تزور 6 مدارس كجزء
من متطلبات الدبلوما (فصول لسن 3-6). سيتم تسليمك قائمة بأفكار لمساعدتك في تسجيل ملاحظاتك.
ج) مراجعات
الكتب:
مطلوب منك
كتابة ست مراجعات كتب، كل مراجعة يجب أن تحتوي على:
- العنوان و اسم الكاتب و خلفيته.
- تاريخ التأليف و النشر و اسم الناشر و عنوانه.
- الهدف من الكتاب.
- الفكرة المحورية من الكتاب (فقرة عن ما يجعل الكتاب مميز
عن غيره، و الأفكار الأكثر تميزاً في الكتاب) - عشر مقولات، مع تحديد الصفحات المقتبس منها.
- فقرة تفسر استجابتك للكتاب و تشرح أي تغيرات طرأت في
طريقة تفكيرك كنتيجة لتأثرك بوجهة نظر الكاتب.
سوف نقوم
بدراسة اثنين من الكتب في اجتماعنا المسائي يوم الأربعاء، لمساعدتك و المشاركة في
مناقشة الموضوعات ذات العلاقة.
د) دراسة الطفل:
سيتم تسليم
نشرة للتوجيهات فيما يتعلق بدراسة الطفل خلال الكورس.
ه) دراسة
ثقافية:
سيتم تسليم
نشرة للتوجيهات فيما يتعلق بالدراسة الثقافية خلال الكورس.
في
الفصل:
- فضلاً تأكد من إمضاء الحضور و الانصراف.
- متوقع من الطلاب إلزامياً بغلق هواتف المحمول خلال
المحضرات نظراً لازعاجها لبقية الحضور. - غير مسموح بأخذ الصور و الفيديو خلال المحاضرة. هناك
متسع من المجال لأخذ الصور خلال تدربك بالنشاطات شخصياً. - يجب احترام جميع القواعد، نحن متواجدون لمساعدتك في
الوصول لهدفك. - غير مسموح للأهالي بإحضار أطفالهم، بيت الطفل لا يوفر
عناية بالأطفال خلال المحاضرة. - مقدمة الكورس ستسمح بوقت كافي للأسئلة مرات عدة خلال
المحاضرة. فضلاً سجل أسئلتك لعرضها في الوقت المخصص.
